M83’s grandiose double album Hurry Up We’re Dreaming can be agreed upon as the group’s best output by far, with it’s sparkling synth echoing some of the best music from the 80’s while simultaneously making it’s own identity in itself.

The dreamy and shoegaze nature of the record make it well-worth listening to, whether you’re in a dance party or driving on a highway in the late hours of the evening with your radio blaring. “Midnight City" may be the most recognizable track from this one, but the entirety of this record is just divine from beginning to end. Reissued for RSD's Essentials series, this comes highly recommended.
